New Roland Garros Peugeot 205-1990: January 2020 – Yet another lovely looking Roland Garros Peugeot 205-1990 arrived for us to recommission. It had been off-road for a few years but was still very tidy and the bodywork was fab! The job required engine overhaul/gearbox and new brake work. The car was totally original, it had a full slide glass roof, electric windows, original alloy wheels and a white and red leather interior. It just needed some TLC.

Morris Oxford 4 door-1952: We had another Morris Oxford 4 door-1952 for recommissioning and we did all the engine and suspension work – what a great car.

1965 Jaguar 3.8s: This required some major engine, transmission, and bodywork and took about 18 months to get back on the road. This is what jaguar was all about at the time – Inspector Morse drove one like this!

VW Beetle: January 2020– a lovely looking VW arrived all the way from South Africa for us to get back on the road. It needed lots of TLC and upgrading but it was an icon.

Ford Escort XR3i: January 2020– we had a ford escort XR3i for recommissioning- this involved new brake work, suspension and an MOT test. The car had been well looked after and was very tidy and drove very well.

1963 Rover P4 95 model – We had a 1963 Rover P4 95 model in for a complete overhaul (including body off). At 19 years she was standing. We replaced the fuel pump, freed the engine, and put a battery on and guess what… it started almost straight away. You would not get many modern cars doing that after all that time. This was a great looking posh car from the swinging sixties. Rover did make some great cars back in the day.

1971 Saab 96 v4: In the past, we have taken on a 1971 Saab 96 v4 for service and restoration work. We completed most work including the water pump, brakes and transmission. It was such a great car already and once it had been restored it was even better. Our second 1971 Saab v4s then arrived for a total refurb including engine and bodywork. These cars are rare, and we do all rebuilding work to make sure the cars are in great condition for the road. We carry a vast amount of spares for these cars and most of these parts are brand new.
